Updated Stamp Duty and Registration Fee in Rajasthan for FY 2023
Registration Charge in Rajasthan:

As per Section 10 of the Act, the payment of stamp duty in Rajasthan is permissible through adhesive stamps, impressed stamps, and a franking machine. When considering the stamp duty adjustments for a property Sale Deed, the changes can be outlined as follows:

* Stamp duty rebate is given on submission of the certificate of identity

Additional Charges (If applicable) –

  • If you paying stamp duty and registration charges in cash, you’ve to give cash handling charges – (Between Rs.100-200)
  • CSI Charges –
    • If Property Value is Under Rs.50,000 – Rs.200 (Fixed)
    • If Property Value is Above Rs.50,000 – Rs. 300 (Fixed)
  • The Registration amount has to be paid in cash or in DD or A/c Transfer. Apart from these charges Advocate fee is additional.

Stamp Duty and Registration Fee in Rajasthan for FY 2021
Registration Charge in Rajasthan:

  • Male = The Stamp Duty is 6% of Transaction Value (Cost of Unit) and Registration Fee is 1% of Transaction Value (Cost of Unit). + 1.8% Surcharge
  • Female = The Stamp Duty is 5.00% of Transaction Value (Cost of Unit) and Registration Charges is 1% of Transaction Value (Cost of Unit). + 1.5% Surcharge
  • Disabled = The Stamp Duty is applicable as per disability percentage.

Note

    • If you paying stamp duty and registration charges in cash, you’ve to give cash handling charges (100 – 200 Rs)
    • CSI Charges – 300 Rs (Fixed)

The Registration amount has to be paid in cash or in DD or A/c Transfer. Apart from these charges Advocate fee is additional.

Stamp duty is the amount customer pay to the government as tax on buying any property. And registration charges are the charges which customer pay to government to register the property on his/her name. In both the cases charges vary.

Basically the stamp duty has to be paid at the time of registration of the property on his/her name. In case of plots, apartments, residential units the charges of registry and stamp duty depend upon the saleable area of the property. It also depends on the market price and DLC rate.

Registration Charge in Jaipur:

      • Male = The Stamp Duty is 6% of Transaction Value (Cost of Unit) and Registration Fee is 1% of Transaction Value (Cost of Unit). + 1.8% Surcharge
      • Female = The Stamp Duty is 5.00% of Transaction Value (Cost of Unit) and Registration Charges is 1% of Transaction Value (Cost of Unit). + 1.5% Surcharge
      • Disabled = The Stamp Duty is applicable as per disability percentage.

The Registration amount has to be paid in cash or in DD. If a person is NRI then below are the points to remember

      • Photocopy of ID(KYC Doc) is very important.
      • PAN Card Copy is must.
      • Photocopy of Possession Certificate
      • Four passport size photographs.
      • Two Witness With ID Proof

Always Remember:

To visit your property before registration and get the satisfaction from both the ends, if anything is left make sure that realtor fulfills the undone things and then one should go for registry. It is always preferred to go at the site, check the property well and then should go for registry.
